Greece has a long tradition of creating distinct, high quality white wines. The Assyrtiko variety from Santorini has become world famous and is now cultivated in many other parts of Greece, while many of you will have at some point experienced a Moshofilero from Mantineia, a Kidonitsa from Lakonia or a Malagouzia which started from northern Greece.
